From Bench to BBQ! Cheers from the AbuGoot Lab summer 2025 event

To celebrate the end of a busy and exciting summer, our lab gathered for a BBQ filled with good food, laughter, and community. It was a great chance to step away from the bench, enjoy the sunshine, and spend time together outside of the lab.

The afternoon was full of highlights—grilling, sharing homemade dishes, and swapping stories from the summer. It was a wonderful reminder of how much fun we have when the whole lab comes together, not just to do science, but to connect as friends and colleagues.

We’re grateful for the energy and camaraderie that make our lab such a special place. Here’s to more discoveries ahead—and more gatherings like this one to celebrate them!
