New manuscript on RNA-guided CRISPR proteases

Today, our manuscript on RNA-triggered proteases in the Cas7-11 CRISPR system is published in Science. We report on how an RNA-guided RNA-targeting CRISPR system complexes with a protease, activates this protease to cleave a specific protein target, and trigger a signaling cascade that modulates stress response pathways and bacterial cell growth.
